That is too bad as I had some extra bayonets and cammo clothes which have hardly been worn and do not fit this fat body anymore I was going to bring to sell.
I am very interested in military surplus camo.
Also, an ak-74 bulgy bayonet, plus, we have got that enfield business to sort out.

Hopefully, no fires.

My camo is mostly realtree and such. No AK bayo. I will bring the enfield.

It is so hot here I will not even go outside to use the pool. I have a solar cover on it and the top water is pretty hot.

I am waiting for it to cool off so I can go to the range and rezero some rifles I moved scopes around on. Also need to redo my 50 after the fall last shoot. I have it close but not dead on yet.

One month to go. I hope this heat wave calms down a bit though. I love the summer but not interested in needing an ambulance to help the shooters with heat stroke. Wouldn't be as fun if we all just sat in our cars and ran the ac when not shooting.

Anyone got a margarita machine. That would make some friends if we could have a non alcohol frozen drinks. I would be willing to buy some. Going to have to see if I can borrow another pop up shade or two.

I was thinking of bringing a gererator and fan but my truck gets full fast as it is.
The paper says it is going to cool off here to only 92* this weekend. Maybe I will throw my jacket into the truck and go to the range.
Then to think I will be complaining in Jan about it being to cold or wet to go shooting. Just cannot win. Mother nature always has her way.

Heading up to my parents place tomorrow for the 4th. I'm going to give my dad the Garand I bought for him, I think Independence Day is the perfect day to do it.
According to the Google my parents place is about 30 minutes from the Oroville range.

LOL, It's my parents house, not mine. I don't know if they'll be ready for a BBQ by then. It's a foreclosure that they're getting back into shape. My dad and I are putting in wood floors tomorrow, my mom and my son will be painting.

Well good luck with The construction! It's all I've been doing this last week: painting rooms, ripping up carpet and installing laminate "wood" flooring at one of my dad's construction jobs, so I can commiserate

Thanks. The nice thing about doing it with my parents is that they're both retired and this is the place they're moving into for retirement so we do it at our own pace. No deadlines, no pressure. It's done when it's done.

Lucky! We have to get this house finished before Monday 800+ square feet of flooring to go and more walls to paint then I want to remember....

P.S. does anybody have a cheap M91/30 bayonet to bring to sell? And when I mean cheap, I mean crappy condition: I'm gonna convert it to a blade bayonet

uhh, happy birthday Ian?
It is your birthday?

Okay, as of yesterday, my friends radiator is shot. I am not sure if it will be fixed by the end of the month, or that I will get the time off work to actually take my driving test and get my license/car.

So, I am not sure I can make it anymore. I will try my best. I am going to mail the little package Glock sent us to Ian, incase I cant make it. It is just pens, pencils and the little glock keychains, G17 if I remember. Oh, also some stickers, and a couple hats.

See this, S&W 39-2: It's a "sleeper", a Hot Rod of pistols. Eight rounds.

May look beat up and has a lot of miles, unloads a mag real fast.

I have a bayonet in excellent condition. You're talking about the folding type on the Mosin Nagant? You need the screw for it?

Trade for something? Ammo?

Dutch3 is looking for an older .22 rifle/plinker.

No, I'm looking for a fixed bayonet for an M91/30, thanks though.
And the mag.... Dang, you may have a hard time finding one of those.

I'd also be fine trading cash for it

What's an Esbit stove ?

I could use some nice Stripper clips for a Mosin.
Also use a couple of these if they are real nice.

I knew there was something strange about him the first time we met, many years ago, but I just could not put my finger on it.

These stoves really do work quite well though!

Too true. Can't wait for the shoot! I am really hoping to get it off. Does anyone have any 7.92x57 they would be willing to sell?

I've got one with your name on it if I can go. Just let me shoot whatever you happen to bring and well call it even.

Default I love it!

This is the first time I have seen a structured C&R shoot at the public range.
I will try to make it with my Garand.
For those of you that have not been to this range it is a no RSO range.
I would advise any NRA RSO's out there that plan to attend this shoot, please keep your eyes out for safety issues. Every time I go out there I see things that only come from untrained public shooting enthusiasts.
Have fun and be safe!!

This will be the 5th one we've had. We not only police ourselves for safety, but the rest of the range as well.

I'll bring a 22lb FP spring in case it has a problem with the Yugo primers. Need stripper clips? I'll bring some of those too.
