Count me in. I had a mini propane grill but can't find it yet. If I can't find it, I'll buy a new one. Of course, then I'll find the old one.
Any idea what area at Burro Cyn we'll be setting up? |

I will be there. I hope I will be there. I will try to be there.
I will bring a hearty appetite. Oh, and also chips and cookies. That's all I could think of, other than ice cream, but there ain't no ice box out there. dc |

Awesome. You guys mind if I bring a chrono? Setting up a baseline before tweaking my Marlin 1895. Anyone interested can use it too as long as no one shoots the chronograph.
Will be checking in to see if we have any gaps in our foodstuff or liquid coverage (Nuthin' alcoholic). Last edited by TackyDriver; 05-30-2013 at 5:35 PM.. |

Chrono should be fine. East 1 is a nice, wide open space.
![]() I should be able to make it. Maybe I'll bring a nice big chili pot. Should go nice with a couple of battle rifles. I'll have plenty of Appleseed targets too in case anyone is interested. Redcoats are fun to shoot.

I'm in tentatively. Saturday i work late, but still wouldn't like to show up for a few hours in the am. I can bring the donuts and napkins.
Would like to bring my 10 & 12 year old daughters if it's ok to bring kids. |

We strive for a family oriented event so kids are definitely a go. We don't have an age minimum per say, we leave it up to the parent if they feel their kid's are old enough to go to the range.

Count me in for June... +1... It will be my first time and I really don't know what to bring... This what I got, you tell me what to bring.
2 canopies 10x10 2 folding tables 5ft each 4 Coolers of all sizes.. Chairs Propane grill Let em know what you want me to bring. And I will definitely be taking some of my world famous carne asada (I don't know about world famous but my family loves it) ![]() Also is there a limit to what we can shoot, and what we can shoot at (fruits, water jugs,.... No steel of course.. Let me know I'm looking forward to meeting all of you.

No water jugs. Fruits and veggies are fine. I like potatoes since you can get them cheap and they explode when you shoot them. I got watermelon last time since it was on sale. No bullets that attract a magnet. BTW I picked up a few of those orange "ballistic polymer" targets since they are reusable.
Anyways, I was thinking of picking up some carne asada from the market for the potluck so I hope you aren't offended it's not home made. ![]() Oh, and the canopies will be great. Especially if you have a good way to stake them down.

Water jugs are actually fine as long as you pick them up and put them in the trash afterwards.
Burro's restrictions are for the most part pretty simple. No charcoal/wood grills. No magnetic ammo and no steel targets.

The number of people at the monthly shoot varies. Don't think of it as you need to feed everyone there. It's a potluck, or like going to your friends BBQ. How much food do you bring to those events? Something like that.

Definitely sounds like fun. I'll try to get a few guys to come out with me too. Please put me down as a tentative.
I'll update the potluck item when I confirm my attendance. Hope to meet everyone then. |

East 1 goes just shy of 100 yards, if we set up all the way back. Plenty of room to stretch a heavy centerfire though nothing that is truly "long range." I'm planning to sight in my '06's at 25, as usual...

REMINDER
Calguns has a reputation and we need to support that reality, of leaving the environment cleaner than when we arrived. Last month a trash can wasn't provided until after noon. We need to bring trash bags in the event that the provided can is filled or is unavailable. Shotgun hulls and trash of any kind needs to be collected and disposed of properly. When you are collecting your targets to leave, please do a sweep of your area and cleanup as needed. We as a 'community' need to be mindful of cleanup. Thank you, BuckleNose

I'm sure of this too, I've heard it said that it's about 180yds, but I think it's about 150 meters.
I'm sure we'll be able to fit one more guy with an AR-15 at the big outdoor range. ![]() |

E1 is definitely longer than 100yds. E2 is about 95yds or so.
