Default Benelli M4 H2O

Although the M4 H2O is currently out of stock, I was wondering if this shotgun with a telescoping stock is legal for shipping and sales in CA?

According the the rifle flow chart, it should be legal no? 18.5" barrel, not rim fire, semi auto, more than 30" collapsed, no detachable magazine and does not hold more than 10 rounds.

Wrong flow chart - check the shotgun flowchart. http://www.calguns.net/caawid/sgflowchart.pdf
Telescoping stock + pistol grip + semi-auto = illegal

Yea, just remember...if it's fun, cool or just generally awesome, it is probably illegal.

In theory if you could even find an H2O (and afford one), pin the stock open and optionally you could change the recoil/buffer tube to the M1014 civilian style which is only 2 position so you don't have all those notches down the open tube. And you would have to find an FFL to accept it, maybe with the stock detached or shipped seperate. Lots of maybes so good luck!
