It would be cool for you to take some pics through the scope at 1k - whoops - 1 Mile not 1 K so people can see just how small the target is even with 20x magnification.

A lot of shooters have 4-10x on an AR or AK that they shoot at 100 yards

I think people would like to see what the shooter sees and can connect with at that range.

That's pretty f-ing amazing. How hard is it to use the mil dot system? I think in MOA, it's the only system I've ever used. Do you think it's easier to make the long shots with a mil dot scope or is it whichever the shooter is more comfortable with?

My problem is that I don't think in meters, I think in inches/feet/yards.

Nice. +1 on sight pics. That is on my someday list, but right now I am still working on the much closer shots.

Thanks for the comments guys!, I'll be sure to take scope pics next time.
I like using the mil system, it seems easier with less math due to the numbers being 1-10 and not dealing with fractions. I also think in inches/feet/yards, and it is very easy to convert to those using the mil system. 1 mil is 3.6" at 100 yards so 1 mil is 1 yard at 1000 yards, makes things easy. But it all boils down to what the shooter is more comfortable with.

Were you shooing factory ammo???
I was looking at the Ken Ferrell bases just the other day, how do you like them?

my Savage rifles are the cheep ones. axis 223 and a FV 22lr. both outstanding shooters out of the box with cheap WM scopes. and the 22 with WM federal bulk ammo is a nail driver.300 dollar rifles and 60 dollar scopes.
i doubt i could shoot better with a CZ.

I so that rifle at Piru last weekend at the savage arms seminar thingy. if I had that kind of money laying around I'd be all over that rifle. put a round on the plate at 600, felt like I was cheating that rifle of it's potential.

really dig the long range shooting.

Thanks for all the comments guys, I really appreciate it!
I bought the rounds from a reloader, he loaded them up with the lapua brass and SMK bullets for me. Now I'll just reload the brass myself since I finally got all my reloading equipment. A+ on the Ken Ferrell rail. It is made of a very strong steel, not aluminum like the stock rail. You can tell it is quality made.
