Default home-made Glock

Garage-smithing at it's finest... while it looks like a Glock, it's not even close internally. BUT, credit needs to be given... if one can do this, who needs a $8000 plastic printer

Hmmm, let's ban milling machine, drills, hammer, etc... LOL.

The finished products, the .45 and the 9mm, that was nuts.

With a hand file and a few other tools.. you can make finished products with the proper skill and ability. Hell they were making precision fitted gears and mechanical computers back in the Greek era. To think that once we understand how to shape metal, given skill, and a plan to work from that a skilled craftsman can hand fit and craft a modern firearm.

i feel the same way, they definitely weren't made the way he was showing them, maybe they get the auto frames and slides partially made.. like a 80%, theres no way he made those but tracing it out of a steel plate.

Guys, you realize that you didn't actually get a look at the manufacturing process or equipment, right? That steel he was using? That's pretty high quality stuff, more than likely. They said it came from the hull of a ship, and since most ships these days don't have hulls that thick ... it's probably WWII-era armor plate. Not poor quality stuff.

As far as tracing an outline on the metal? How else would you begin? You have to know what to cut away.

I'd be interested to see more of the process before saying there's no way that guy made those sweet semi-autos.

Nice! It would be cool to see a range report.

Kinda reminds me when Tony Stark made his first Iron Man suit in captivity in the first Iron Man movie.
