I am considering purchasing the vulcan V15. I have heard bot negative and bad concerning the gun. I read a number of the posts concerning the gun which mostly were from 05, 06 and up to July of 07. I would like some more current feedback from readers. I am not looking for beauty but am looking for reliability. I go to shooting on average once a month and would probably put 100 rounds max each time. Also, being new to this what does OLL stand for.
Thank you |

The V15 is probably just a luck of the draw type of rifle it can be good or it can be horrible. I had one and it was not bad but not great either. also if its over 800 bucks theres way better rifles out there. For you OLL question read the FAQ's page you will get a better grasp of what this forum is all about.

OLL = Off List Lower
Are you considering buying a complete rifle or building one up? I would recommend going with Stag, CMMG, RRA or Bushmaster which are better quality. There are many calgunners here that are very knowledgable and vendors that can point you in the right direction. |

+1 on what isitkool said. I have a vulcan stripped lower that I had to beat the pins and lower parts to make fit. Works just fine now after a couple of bruised knuckles. Vulcans are not the pretiest and are really out of spec. Go with the brands the guys have mentioned and get a Prince50 you should be fine.

Try Irvington Arms. There are others but I'm not from that area and not familiar with all the FFL's in the bay area. You shouldn't need any help putting a lower together. It's easier than you think.
