Default I am 100% here for your 80% build...

Like the post say's "I am there 100% for help on your 80% build"

I'm based in Auburn, CA (Norcal)

I have a full size Bridgeport knee Mill ready to rock.

Mill use, All needed tooling, Bits, Jigs, my instruction for both the Ar15 and Ar10 pattern pistols or rifles (All brands)

Please email me @ seesmllc@hotmail.com as I am not on here enough to check this post but I do get emails to my phone.

I am not a shop but I can help you finish your build or get one started.

I have a fair bit of parts laying around to finish your build. Let me know what you need and I may have it.

80% Non Anodized lowers $99 (Same price Colfax Tactical sells for)
80% Anodized lowers $109 (Same price Colfax Tactical sells for)

Depending on mechanical ability it takes 1-3 hours to finish your lower.

I use Colfax Tactical lowers mostly. I have used others and there are a few nices ones out there, but Colfax Tactical is Veteren owned and made in the USA. They are good people and local to me so I choose to use then on my personal builds.

Seesm won't let you mess up your 80%. My buddy and I both did our 80% AR15s with Seesm's instruction.

Seesm, did my friend from Stockton contact you yet about the 80% .308 and 5.56?

Seesm also taught me to mill my 80%... I think it took ~1hr with my minimal knowledge (we did not assemble it, just milled it). It turned out really nice, works great!

I've actually been considering getting another 80% which I'd have engraved before taking up to Seesm.

I learned so much in that one hour, that I would feel comfortable doing it alone if I had my own mill at home. He's a good guy, knows what he's doing, and really knows his stuff.

BTW: If you haven't seen it yet, he makes a sling attachment plate that's sold at TDS Guns. It's awesome at a really good price (I own several).

GO SEE THIS GUY if you want to pursue an 80% build. He taught me to mill my own lowers as well. I am learning a great deal about gunsmithing and the experience there was so valuable and educating. I to would feel comfortable doing these myself and as a person pursuing a type 7 ffl this really helped shed some light on what needs to be learned to be in the gunsmith trade and do it professionally. Thanks again seesm. I will be posting pics of my finished builds..

Just curious if you're set up to mill the magwell. I've got some 0% lowers on order, so I'm looking to mill the whole thing. I actually have access to a full Bridgeport knee mill, but I can see investing some time (and money) with someone's whose already been there/done that.

Also ..., any experience with CNC?

Thanks - Corey

Hey Corey let me know when yoru ready. I could do this but it's a fair bit of work... Truly cost wise it makes sense to just grab 80% by the time you get them done... Yes I have a CNC I could use but that not as much fun... Too easy... lol I use the CNC stuff to make other parts we make. The 80% lower I get from certain suppliers and they do a really nice job. Why re-create the wheels. I only charge $99 on non anodized and $109 anodized so that is pretty fair.... Some charge more than that per lower so I get why a 0% may seem good but by the time yoru done you can actually do it at a decent deal.

Honestly, I've already got way more AR's than I need. I'm really more interested in learning some basic milling techniques. I actually own a benchtop cnc mill that I want to start using, but I learn better by doing than reading. Ultimately, I want to design/mill my own parts as well as build my own bolt-gun(s). I was thinking that milling an 0% AR would be an easy place to start ... baby steps, as it were.

I want to point this out as someone messaged a mod about my thread.

I put this up to just help everyone out. I own a motorcycle business and I make some parts for a local gun shop. This 80% deal is a way to help fellow gunnies and show you how you can legally build build your own pattern gun.

If you need help and I can help you I will, if I can't help you I may be able to find you the person who can.

Thanks everyone.

Cool Easy enough.

Have to wait for them to finish the production run, and for my brothers month vacation so we all have time to go do it.
