Had my interview today. The deputies there are funny guys. Very low-stress. Got live-scanned downtown and the 30-day DOJ wait begins.

Did they schedule for range and (if you're taking it there) the class? I would say if they did, you are well on your way. You probably are anyway. Usually, if your application gets passed on to Admin, you're good to go. If they didn't think your GC was going to pass muster up the ladder, they'd likely have let you know you needed to work on it.
And yes, our two Deputies have a sense of humor and don't put you on the defensive. Really great guys. Good luck and keep us posted. |

I took the course prior to the interview. Deputy Aguirre began to explain the CCW course requirements and it was at that time I realized it didn't include my certificate from FTA with my package. Duoh!! He was cool with it and said I could just fax it over while the DOJ did their thing.

I had my interview March 19th and Live scanned on the 28th... haven't heard a peep! I am waiting to hear of my approval before doing the class. Since I was still looking for a Ruger LCP at the time of my application I figured I would wait for the classes, and I finally got me a LCP! Hurry up!
