i would stick with m193, it penetrates well and the jacket separates and fragments. Also with a cheap bullet proof vest those guys will just flatten. wicked little bullets on small game but not as impressive for home defense.

I reload and shoot the Nosler BTs,Hornady VMax and Hornady SSTs.I like the Noslers when I can afford them, but the Hornadys are less expensive.Thats a fact.
I believe if my research was correct it is in the manufacturing process that cause's the price difference. For actual animal hits, the Noslers hold together a lttle better if you trust the science. The 4 legged things I have shot did not have bullet proof vests on,but I will agree with them seperating. The bones are usually broken very bady as well and exit holes usually on the large size. The last couple of coyotes shot broad side or from straight on with Nosler 70 gr 243s had exit wounds as big as a soft ball.I shot one a couple weeks ago broadside with a 204 32 gr Vmax and it looked like the 243 shots on the others.223s,I use the 40 gr VMax.They are very accurate out of my ARs and bolt guns.
