If you are in SJ, the best one, that is closest to you... is a guy named Ray in Modesto.

I completed 10 lowers while i was in town 2 weeks ago in roughly 2 hrs. He is a great guy very ontop of his game when it comes to machining and will be more than able to help you complete any of your frames. Ive done them at home on my drill press and at two other shops with cnc machines, by far CNC guy is the best. You will leave surprsised at how simple and fast he makes the process. i called and made an apointment easily and then added my brother and one more frame to the apointment short notice which he graciously accomodated. In additon to great work he is also a character and you will defiantely have some fun while you are there.

On another note, dont be that guy that uses his knowledge and equipement to do something you would otherwise be helpless to complete on your own and then leave a smack in the face weak sauce tip like 30 bucks for 4 lowers. Yes, he says its tips and donations but in the world of machining 80%'rs there is definately a going rate, and if you arent sure you should just ask before you go there because there is a cost to run a machine like that and hes doing us favor by allowing us to rent time on it so dont be the A** Hole who ruins it for the rest of us by being cheap.

Howdy, I saw your name pop up over at Madison Society Foundation, just wanted to show support, though I never used you, nor heard of you til then, if its good enough for http://www.madison-society.org/, its solid for me!

At the meeting last Monday we were talking about the CNC Mill Guy who was at our dinner last October. Here's his contact information. http://www.madison-society.org/

BTW, CNCMillGuy rocks ... If you decided to stiff him, remember what your lower COULD look like, without a gentleman like Ray to help ya out!

For the record since you left it out, the going rate for tipping shop owners is $80-$100 per lower receiver last I checked. The coolant, power, maintenance, drill bits (they break and wear out), jigs, legal fees can cost almost this much.

Just watch this thread for when he (hopefully) opens back up for business. Then PM him again and/or text him.

I heard he was expecting the ATF to arrest him soon.
I hope things work out well for him.
