Question 31 state ccw & going to Canada ?

Planing a trip to Canada, and picking up 31 state CCW. Problem is can't take to Canada. So needing a place to park or check handguns in Montana & N.Dekota.

Any thoughts on this situation ??

Just leave your gun at home.

Do you have an address where you could ship it to yourself near where you re-enter the US? That's legal.

Even thinking about taking it into Canada cusses you to lose CalGuns Cool Points.

I'd feel much better with the bank deposit box option.

Some one said that using pawn shop if you are crossing and entering at same city. Keep your receipt. Not sure if I would trust it but it's an option.

Unless you are a resident of that state, you wouldn't be Bluetooth get it back from a pawn shop. Only own shops with an FFL can handle firearms, and they are restricted to the same rules as any other FFL.

Avoid Canada.

Where ever you decide to store your firearms; it will also need to be big enough to store your ammo & magazines & other firearm related accessories.
