Wink FYI If you can't find reloading supplies here...then

go to these sites:

gunboards.com forum
gunbroker.com
cmp forum.

I was able to get me some 124 gr projectiles for my AK ammo reloading and just recently picked up (200) rounds of lapua 7.62x54R brass from a member on the cmp forum. I paid by paypal using gift option.

Just an FYI to all of you if you can't find anything in here.

I just blew a lot of money on GB.

And Amazon to get starter supplies (Lee powder measures, awesome electronic scales ect). And Fowlers to get Lee and Hornady books. I checked out a few headshops to get scales, and they had no idea how accurate the scales were or if they measured in grains.. lolz.. but it was fun to talk to the kiddies behind the counter..

My first .45Colt rounds are gonna cost like $8.00 each! lolz... Kinda kidding. Kinda NOT.

hahaha - but it is fun.

Reloading can still be inexpensive but the trick is to be patient! If you can force yourself to wait to get the components only when they are at a reasonable price it will be well worth it. The trick is to constantly be on the look out. Which in some case isn't worth the hassle for some people. But when ever I see or read about fellow reloaders paying $75 for 1k small rifle primers and $60 for a pound of powder and $25 for 100 bullets then I think they are crazy.

I just spent $75 on LG pistol primers.. lolz. But other than Federal LG MAGNUM primers - I have no other choice. And diven that 45colt (at Walmart) is over $1.50 a round. I can afford to splurge.

But yeah, reloading 9mm with insanely priced components doesn't make sense.

Well, I could have gotten Wolf for $38, but CCI is harder to find. And Federal Magnums are everywhere, but I can't use those.

Did you find CCI or Winchester?? Just curious.

Yeah recently i picked up the following:

1500 pcs of 30-06 brass for $280
700 pcs of 7.62x39 brass for $140
140 pcs of 7.62x39 brass for $51
200 pcs of 7.62x54r brass for $130
100 pcs of 124 gr .308 projectiles for my ak reloads for $27
and the list goes on.

I'm so addicted, I know that I have enough brass and still, in the 3 forums (gunboards, cmp, and calguns), if i see any of these brass for sale, I still try to bargain. Am I out of my mind? =P

If I continue like this, I will never be able to buy my 1903, mossberg 500 persuader, and ruger P345. What do you guys think?

Yes it is, until the wife starts questioning the expenses and giving you sh@# about it.

Man, I think I'm gonna have to open up some kind of business or find a second job to support this hobby

Yup a second job and I recycle. It helps quite a bit. I'm a shooter so there you have it. My main job pays the bills and will allow me to retire. My second job will allow my "hobby".

For real guys. Just be patient and shop around. Buy in bulk when you can if you can. Some of the prices I see (and some of you pay) is outrageous!!!! If you can get pistol primer close to home for now at ~30-35 per K, then go for it - but not more. You should be paying less than 30.

WW231 should be purchased for more than ~22 or less per pound under an circumstances. (i just got some delivered to my door for 17.50 per pound all inclusive). Comparable powders - comparable prices.

Bullets - same deal....

Spend what you have to spend to shoot what you normally shoot. Beyond that, BE PATIENT and shop around. The deals are there.
