Default Trading my PMC .223 for 40sw , what's the ratio?

If I wanted to trade 200rds of .223 , how many 40s should I get ?

It depends on what kind of 40, is this regular white box, or something better like Ranger?

If it is regular white box 40, then you should get approx 232 for 200 .223 PMC. If the ammo is Prvi, then you would get even more.

PMC .223: ~.3895 per round
.40 white box: ~.335 per round

(Panic prices not taken into account as the prices would be adjusted equally)

Actually no they wouldn't. And shouldn't.

You can find 7mag no problem and the prices have been consistent. Prices do not go up for all goods at the same rate. It's called the cantillon effect. Also the non-neutrality of the dollar. Either way each party values the other item more. This is a trade that requires double coincidence of wants. Ratios are another matter. At least each item is divisible which makes the trade easier.

I'd probably trade 1:1 in a normal situation. Last time I bought .40 it was $34 for 100 WWB, and .223 was $7 a box of 20.
