My wife and I live in Ukiah. We belong to the Ukiah Rifle and Pistol club (Ukiah Gun Club) just northeast out of town. We are mostly into handguns and shoot together often. I also shoot rifles. My son is a member there as well. We aslo shoot Cow Mountain when we want to knock tin cans around or rapid fire.

I have been reloading for at least 20 years (we have his-n-hers Rock Chuckers).

We also have had CCWs for 10+ years.

BTW, I can sponsor anyone who wants to join the UGC (sponsor needed or have to go before the Board and introduce yourself). PM me or e-mail at bergmen-at-pacific-dot-net (@.).

Looking for a place to hold 600 yard matches or 1000 yard matches.I am willing to run the matches and call the line just need a flat piece of ground with a safe back stop.

Sebastopol here.....embarrassed to admit it, this place has certainly gone wrong. Not like it was growing up here 40 yrs ago. Cow Mtn and Circle S for me. I'm curious about the Concord facility. It would be nice to have someplace safe and well maintained closer than Cow.

Another Napa guy here. Been all around the area, Circle S, United Sportsmen, Bullseye, Guns and Fishing, some BLM up in Orland... Up to the private Napa range once, one of my friends is a member but doesn't get out much.

Live west of Occidental. Shoot Clays at RussianRiverSportsmansClub in Duncans Mills, and Blackpoint. Air Rifles and occasionally Quiet 22LRs in the back yard.
Been up to Ukiah and Circle S for rifle - wish there were more.

I'm from Napa. unfortunately there aren't too many places close by to shoot. I have been to Boggs Mountain, Red Mountain, and we used to shoot at Knoxville on BLM land. Not sure if it's legal any more.

Napa County here, north of the city. This site doesn't get much activity! Surely someone around here has access to private property for shooting!
Indoors at Center Mass, sometimes Yolo, sometimes Circle S. Still trying to figure out how to get on the list for the Napa Club and Twin Sisters range.

American Canyon here, new to the area.

I'd love suggestions on where to shoot.

So far I go to Concord or San Rafael.

We just had one in Lakeport last month. I have lots of people from Sonoma, Napa and some from Mendo but not to many from LC.

FWIW LC folks are not to up on Internet from what i can tell. Next year will be the time to get this done.

Did Circle S for the first time last Friday with a buddy from Sebastopol. Had a truly good time. RO was a decent human and everyone shooting was good peoples. Dunno why it get such bad reviews on here and on yelp. Wasn't as "hood" as a few reported. Usually shoot handgun indoor at Bullseye but had a new 7.62x39 ar upper and a Mossberg Patrol .308 to try out.
Thinking of trying out Richmond Rod and Gun next.

Figure as long as I stay away from Richmond anywhere near I80 or Canal Sts., I should be fine!

Rohnert Park.

I used to shoot at Circle S until they were forced to put those silly shades over the shooting line. Now, I have to scrunch down to shoot at 100 yds, and forget about shooting the AR at 200 yds.

I joined the Valley of the Moon Trap Club to shoot clays. They have a rifle/pistol range down at the end of the line that is open Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. If you're not a member, you must be accompanied by one. Rifle shoots at 100 yds from 9 am to noon, and pistol shoots from whatever everyone agrees on (10-20 yds) from noon to 3 pm. There are only 6 rifle benches, but the ROs don't get all pissy (like Circle S) if you want to shoot offhand or prone.

Sometimes, I go down to Diablo Rod & Gun, north of Concord. That's a great place to shoot, with plenty of room on all ranges. They only have 50 and 100 yd rifle, but they have rifle, pistol, skeet, trap and 5-stand. Take all your toys!

Mnunez82. Checking in from Fairfield/Suisun City. Not sure what I can offer, recently became a first time owner of an SR9, but have spent lots of time at the range in Vacaville (Center Mass).

Willing to help out where I can.
