Default Jailed a NAA mini .22 mag. (UPDATE: bailed out)

And to celebrate its arrival to my home in 10 days I put together a bandolier paracord bracelet.

Anyone know the best site to order accessories? Looking to pick up some pearl grips, pocket holster, and .22lr cylinder.

Keep your hand away from the front of the cylinder, powder burns galore. Also that little pistol is LOUD.

I was a little confused about what ammo to pick up at the shop and ended up with a bulk 250 pack of cci to practice. They had a few options that ill check out when I go back. Thank you.

Congrats on the gunÖthat bracelet is funny and cool at the same time. Better keep in to ten or less rounds.
I wonder if anyone would even notice what it was if you wore it out in public. I can see the news nowÖÖ..person arrested for an assault bracelet.

Iíve been looking at the NAA Black Widow .22lr with mag conversion for some time. Havenít found one to hold so until then Iíll keep looking.

Lol, my girlfriend was rolling her eye when she caught me on the couch putting it together. Didn't help that I was watching The Walking Dead too. Felt inspired I guess.

Picked up a black in pant holster and pug rubber grip. Not sure if I'm going to bother sending it in for the .22lr cylinder. If panic prices hopefully start to drop I'd rather save that money to put towards an extra AR lower or two.

the grip clip NAA sells for these works really well, then it just looks like you have a knife in each pocket. congrats

I went with a Concealment Holster Solutions pocket holster (http://concealmentholstersolutions.com/Home_Page.php):

I opted for the "draw button", too...

I like his attention to detail...for example, how the leather is molded to the cylinders in the "safety notch" position:

The NAA is one of my favorite carry pieces. I stoke it with Hornady Critical defense.

BTW, my holster is set-up for left hand carry, smooth side out when in a left pocket.

I also bought a nylon holster for it. I posted a thread on it here: http://www.calguns.net/calgunforum/s...d.php?t=579546

Congrats on the new revolver!

Thanks...the NAA is a very specialized piece, so if you want something that can be used for plinking too, I'd hold out for the LCR. I've got one in .38spl and it's a great revolver. The NAA is fun...for about 2 cylinders!

Are the other custom models even available in California? The sidewinder is what really turned me on to these little pistols. The plain Jane mini mag is the only one I ever find locally.

Supaoopa - At one time a local shop carried the black widow. But last night I was browsing the ca approved list and noticed that the NAA mini revolver .22 mag and .22 lr are the only two on the list now. Kind of burst my bubble.

Joe – thanks for the info. I am going to get an LCR and probably the NAA just trying to hold out to get the LCR first.
I think the NAA would be a fun one to have. I laugh every time I see one.

Jump on 99 south and go to Nick's Gunworks in Lodi. They had .22lr, .22mag, .22lr/mag Earl, and the .32 auto NAA.

I got a 3" Earl from them. It is real nice and being 3" it isn't a bad plinker either.

The bracelet is not an ammunition feeding device. So, there is no limit to the number of rounds you could put in one.

I may have to grab one of these.

I take it the sidewinder model is not on the roster, correct?

Supaoopa – That little revolver looks great. Congrats again. Have you had the opportunity to shoot her?

I went down today to jail me one but they were out. I want the mag with the LR cylinder. I did hold a used one with the grip holster and that made a huge difference. That will be a must for me.

Hoping to break her in tomorrow. . Place I went to also had a used .22lr version with the folding grip for $199. Really tempted but if I get another one i want a long barreled version. Good luck with your search.

Santamonica9: the bracelet was made using a king cobra weave. If you haven't made one before check it out on youtube for examples. Super easy to make. Pm me if you try it out and need help.

Wow, I love this little thing. Put about 100 rounds through it today and I hit paper enough times at 25yards that seriously considering an Earl to plink with. Really impressed, and was 100% reliable with no ftf.

thanks for the update: king cobra weave - super easy and Im going to do it for my 38

NAA - buy the .22mag then send it back to NAA to fit a new .22lr on it - cali roster does not have the convertible on the roster....so sad

Really easy. Loop in the rounds when making the cobra weave in the beginning. Then come back and overlap to make it a king cobra weave. Note I used both 550 and 325 paracord so the loops wouldn't be so bulky with the thinner paracord.

When you said bailed out, I was thinking you sold it already!!!

I have 2 NAA, a short and a long. The short is more controllable to shoot, the LR jumps around too much. I should get one with the larger frame that has a bigger grip.

I have a CCW license for other states, but I'm not sure if that knife folding type grip is legal since it's not fully concealed? I could look it up but I'm too lazy.

Cool bracelet!

I have a 'belt buckle' holster for mini 22 mag. But it's the Freedom Arms mini, not the NAA. NAA copied the FA gun, and then FA stopped making them.

Problem: to make the gun stick on the front of the buckle, the side screw is removed from the gun and replaced with a screw that has a pointed spike like head. That spike snaps into a spring catch on the buckle.

So, when shooting the gun the pointy screw head will cut the hand if gun is not held just right: painful !

Which is why I never use the buckle, it is way cool...., but I should sell it to someone who wants one..., I'll never use it agian... only fits the FA mini 22 magnum 1-1/8" bbl.

tiny screw is 1/4" long...

Smile my new 1-1/8" minimag

whoorah!
just got mine.
Filled out paper work on 3/17, the FFL shipped it for me to NAA for the 22lr cylinder, and it got back 4/1... just a little past the 10 day wait period.
NAA seems to be on their game.
When out to the pond on my property and shot it off a couple times to try it out. Here some vids.
NAA with 22LR
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=okGNr...ture=endscreen
NAA with 22mag
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FiCbF_97kRM

kind of a little jolt with the LR, but more of a jump with the mags. Not as loud of a bang as I thought from reading the forums.
Can't want to get a full box or two through it.
