Default Forum time stamp

Why is my forum time stamp off by an hour? I am on the correct time zone and my DST setting is on auto-detect, but the forum time stamp is an hour behind schedule. It has been this way since there was a server backup or something a couple months ago.

My time stamp has been off ever since the domain moved.

Its 5:10PM now but the time stamp says 6:10.

ETA: I just checked the area in USER CP where the time zone is changed and made sure it was set on Pacific time zone and now it says 4:10PM

OK I figured it out I set the DST to always on.

Before I had this set the post above said 4:10.

CNY the time you see is controlled by your time zone setting.

Mine could say something completely than what you see if your setting and mine aren't the same.

thedrickel: do this go to the User CP then edit options and set the zone to Pacific time then set the "DST Correction Option" TO "DST corrections always on"

If the software doesn't auto-detect my DST settings why does it have that option?
