Default .308 Match Grade Recipes

Anyone would like to share their match grade recipes, and what rifles, and barrel length it's being shot from? Known velocities would be great too.

If this goes well, we can turn it into a sticky for reference.

I'm personally interested in the 155gr scenars with RL15 powder recipes. Projectory appears to be much flater with less wind driftage than 168gr, and able to shoot past 800yards with more consitancy than 168gr.

Also does anyone have any experience with Russian primers?

I'm running RA60 brass, 44.8 gr Varget, WLR primers, and 155 Lapua Scenar seated to 2.830". Velocity is 2840 from my stock 24in 10fp barrel. Flatter and less wind than 175 SMK's.

I have 1k of the Wolf primers that I'm going to try soon. I'll see if my ES goes down any.

I loaded 155 scenars in Win brass with 45g of RL15 with CCI Benchrest primers to 2.8 and they are running 2800 fps from a 22.25" barrel of my Remmy with a 1-12 twist.

doesn't the scenars have to be over 2800fps to be effective? i read that somewhere.

hmm, i wonder if i can stuff that kind of grainage in my brass (45ish grains).

Load 1 : Win Brass, WLR, 43.7 gr RE15, 175 SMK (or 178 Amax) - 2712 fps out of my 24" Rock 5R 1-10 **Also use 210M or Russian primers - all within 10fps of one another though WLR gives the best ES/SD **

Load 2: Lapua Brass (or FGMM), Russian Primer (PMC or WOLF), 43.4 gr RE15, 175 SMK - 2680fps same barrel **Also use 210M with same results (+- 10 FPS)

Load 3: FGMM brass, 210M, 42.8 gr RE15, 168SMK, Nosler or Amax - 2680 same barrel

Load 4: LCLR, 210M, 43 grm RE15, 175SMK - 2675 same barrel

Load 5: LC Match, 210M, 42grn IMR 4895, 186SMK, Nosler or Amax, 2680 same barrel

The first load I tried out of my "short" barrel hit 2800 at 45g. I tried 46g and hit 2890. I did not shoot the 46g for accuracy but the dope was pretty nice on that round. I needed 9.25 MOA to get to 500 yards. 2800 I needed 10 moa. I am going to load 46.4 and see what happens but 46 is already crunching the powder a little. I figure that should put me at 2900 fps.

The shape of the 168 is different than the 155. The 168 is noticeably rounder in the nose area - this is where the weght is coming from.

46.5 RL15 behind the scenars in my 22.25 hit 2900 fps. Accuracy at 100 yards was good. I was to lazy to go to 200 and it was pretty muddy on Saturday.
