Default Todays Civil Rights Protest

Really enjoyed todays event in Ventura, CA. Wish it would've been larger, but this was a good start. I might suggest that the next time something like this happens, you would put a big notice about it on the opening pages of Calguns.
I only saw this last night.
Thanks Again!

How many folks showed up? Was it orderly and not obnoxious? Anything that you really liked or disliked?

Asking because I am considering organizing one up in the bay area...

I would say there were a few hundred people in attendance. I didnt see anyone being uncivil from our side. The speakers were pretty decent and the message was being put out there. I didn't notice any TV media but I am sure that the print media was present. The was a fairly large representation of ages and more than a few women and families there too.

The only things I could say to the organizers of this or future events is to really reach out to other groups too. It is always better to have as diverse an ethnic/social group as possible. This fight is about the Civil Rights of Gun Ownership and nothing else! Lets keep that as our message and not turn off other groups who may not share the same points of views in other areas.
Some people will do skanky things for $25, and not all those people are crack whores.
