I sell jigs for 80%'s, let me know if you're interested.

Thanks, but I've really looking to build my own. Are you interested in selling your fab drawings?

No, not selling the drawings but if you measure your lower you should be able to get all the specs you need anyway.

I'm a businessman myself and I have plenty of drawings I wouldn't sell. I'm just surprised that I can't find any lower jig drawings in the public domain. I ordered some lowers but the way things are, I don't expect to see them for a month or two. I have everything I need to fabricate the jigs in the meantime.

I just typed in 80% lower drawings and they popped up as image results. Took 1 minute.

Ray Brandes' guide has all the dimensions you need and plans for clamping pads:

http://www.lecreg.com/P4x4/ARblank.pdf

The blue print has all the dimensions one one (big) page:

http://www.ar15.com/content/manuals/lowerblueprint.pdf

That said if you have the tools to make a jig you don't need one to finish an 80% lower.

You might make clamping pads that are 1" thick, longer than Ray specifies (mill for buffer tower clearance), and with .250" (although theoretically that could get tight if the hole spacing is a bit off but still within spec on your receivers - the linked blueprint says 6.375+/-.002 center to center for the holes and .251 +/- .001 for diameter; I wonder how over-sized those holes are in commercial jigs ) dowel pins at the pivot and take down pin locations. That'll give you enough room for hold-downs on your mill table or angle plate so you can clamp down the fixture and don't need to indicate and edge find each receiver when you're doing multiples.

Add drill bushings at the appropriate locations and a top plate and you'd have an 80% jig for drill press use.

My clamping pads are 1/2" and exactly as specified

Where are you located? I don't have drawings, but I do have a TM jig you could come over & get measurements from/trace if you wish.

Problem solved. I somehow missed the plates in Ray Brandes' guide. They are just what I need. Thanks all.
