I have a line on a BNIB M&P 15-22 MOE for a good price and I'd love feedback from anyone who has this specific model...
I was initially put off slightly by the fact that it is completely polymer built upper and lower but apparently they are pretty durable. I never paid much attention to rimfire clones of real rifles before, but in this era of unobtanium ammo and gouged gun markets, this is an attractive training option..... I've watched all the Youtube reviews. Looking for authentic CG feedback now! All comments appreciated! |

I had one, also have a colt m4 uramex, i had no problems, just a PITA to clean.
I believe i got about 3 thousand rounds out of the 15-22 with average FTF, given the nature of 22lr. I ended up selling my 15-22 and keeping the colt. No specific reason, just wanted to slim down. I would have sold the colt and kept the 15-22 and still would have been happy.

That's a great little 22! Mine hasn't been to the range nearly enough since I got it but just putting a cheap red dot on it zero'd at 100 yards lets you plink from right in front of you to the 100 mark. It's a blast to shoot and so far I haven't had any ftf issues.

I don't have the MOE model, but mine has been awesome for 8,000+ rounds. Mine doesn't like Remington ammo, but I figured that out within the first couple hundred rounds.
It's the most fun gun I have. Get it! |

I've also lost track of how many rounds I've fired with my 15/22 MOE. I love that thing. In the two and a half years I've had it I've shoot it more than any of my other guns and still haven't grown tired of it.
It's reliably digested all the bulk packs I've tried with it. There were even two separate remarkable occasions when it ran a complete box of Federal 525 without a single issue. However, in retrospect, since I wound up upgrading everything except the rear MBUS, I could have just gone with a standard threaded barrel model from the start and saved a few bucks. Also, I never even use the ambi qd sling swivel sockets mounted on the rear of the lower receiver. When ever I use a sling I prefer to attach one of the ends to the qd sockets on my stocks.

My 15-22 MOE is my favorite gun! It's a blast to shoot and I think it's pretty well made. I originally went to get a Umarex MP5, but the salesperson sold me on the M&P 15-22 and I have no regrets. Just started with some mods recently with a barrel shroud and Primary Arms red dot on the way. Happy shooting'!!

I too can sing the praises of the M&P15-22. Well made, accurate. I put a weaver V3 1-3x20 scope on it and it is consistently accurate with Am Champion bulk. No function issues so far. As an added bonus, the controls are pretty much identically placed and function the same as its big brother M&P15. That is not the case with the Colt Umarex. If I'm not mistaken, the Colt has a non functioning bolt release and its safety is different. Safe is at 9 o'clock and fire at 3 o'clock instead of fire at 12 o'clock.

It's one of the funnest to shoot in my collection! Very reliable and I like the lightweight polymer.. If you've got a good line, I'd say you won't regret it.

i used my MOE for several classes as well. save on ammo money and still get all the ar-15 feel. yes its lighter and steel but its also not some BB gun tweaked to shoot 22lr (COLT/umarex) easy to clean & mod - i put on an A.F.G. and swapped the stock to the newer CTR one. everyone who shoots it never wants to put it down
