Wow, I don't know what I would have done. The bull could have charged him even if he didn't shoot so I guess it's a good thing he shot when he did! haha

it looks like he shot it in the forehead right where the antlers meet the skull... I don't think a arrow from a compound bow can punch through that, he's lucky to be alive, that moose could have trampled him. He should have used a rifle anyways, then he wouldn't have a sore *** and he'd a a trophy moose too

An arrow has tremendous energy at short range like that.
You can see in the video that the arrow went straight through both sides of the skull.

Ohh from looking at it I can't see the arrow passing through on the video. But anyways I don't think that a clean HS to a moose would leave it in the state where it could still charge you and get away... could it?
