This is one of mine M39's

Here is a 1941 Sako
This one has seen better days, blueing is gone, some rust got to it as a result but it's still beautiful. The stock looks like marble. ![]() ![]() ![]() This is a 1944 Sako I'll post better pics of this as this one doesn't do it justice. the finnish were pretty picky about using heavily burled or rippled wood in their guns. I fell asleep during botany, but I guess the burled wood only comes from severely traumatized trees trying to heal over so that scarring is heavier and stronger wood
