The "Original" Ammo Can Label Magnet!

I know there are other guys out there (and other vendors here on CalGuns) doing Ammo Can Labels/Stickers and other things, and I have no intention of trying to do all the things they do. I started wanting to do magnets and only magnets and now have somewhere around 200 different styles to choose from and more being added...I have just a few Stickers (that match some of the 50cal Sized Magnets) but honestly the sales have been pretty low and I most likely won't do many news ones (other than as add-ons to some of the magnet orders).

I think there is a different market for different needs, I think that people that realize the value of flexibility of being able to move your ammo and magnets around from can to can will be happy with my products and those that want something more single use/permanent, but still high quality look and feel (anything is better than Tape and Sharpies!) will be happy with the stickers.

I wish those other guys good luck!~

Thanks for your order(s)! I have this one packaged up and will go out still today! Glad you are happy with them!

The Yellow Stencils are my favorite too and now on my personal ammo can stash, and have been very popular with other customers (prob 50% of the orders over the past couple of weeks since I added them have at least some of the Yellow Stencils).

I've had this request a couple other times and I just haven't figured out the best way to do this...my last thought of a White Boxed Area somewhere on on the magnet which then could be written on with Dry Erase Marker (I've confirmed that it writes and cleans off well off the surface of these magnets). Something like this is what I was envisioning;

Out course each caliber design will be a little different where the box will be based on the rest of the text of the design. The 9mm is easy since I can move the MM up, but something like 7.62x54R pretty much already fills the whole design, which mean I have to make all of the main text smaller and move things around.

Have additional challenges in that everyone has different preferences for which font type and which font color they prefer and which they would want with the white boxes for ammo counts. I already have 200 designs and counting, and in order to make any profit at all, I have to order these in decent quantity (min 50, prefer 100-200 per design).

So not impossible, but would need to make sure what I had made up would be what people wanted and be popular enough that I could order in quantity where a profit would be possible.

Sorry for rambling along, but just talking through my thought process a little bit.

White Font, Hmmmm (going back to everyone liking something different)? Something like this?

Wade, either design with empty box to write a note (qty) will work for me, I prefer yellow stencil fonts.

Which Calibers would people be most interested if I did some with the White "Qty" Strip on them?

In my opinion, the caliber size that highest demands, 556/223 & 9mm then .40, .45

Put in a pretty big order on 4-26 got them today = 3 days.. damn!

I opted to just get .223 to cover all .223/5.56 and I decided to get all 30cal can size as a 30cal can size will fit a 50cal can and a 30cal can, but a 50cal may not fit the 30cal can so well. So, I see the 30cal can size as being able to pull double duty and multi use.

I will put them all on tonight, quality seems nice & not chincey and printing is clear and how mine are stored, the yellow should stand out.

I am going to use these magnets, and then below on the bottom edge of each can - with a label maker - I already have things like:

- brand(s) details in that can
- type details (JHP, grains, HP, etc)
- how full (.25/.50/.75/full)
- misc details (stripper clips, factory new, loose, bagged, bandoliers, etc)

Inside each can are desiccate silica packs and a flash card with date and amount of ammo and when I use ammo, I just scratch out date and amount and go to next line with a new date with updated amount in can.

On the tops of many, I also rip off the label of 1 side of the factory box and tape it on.

2nd order just placed.

This may sound dumb, but how about one that simply says "Ammo". If you have one for "tools" and "brass" and "misc" and "mags" and such, it makes sense you might go to the range with just an individual ammo can for each purpose and so 1 of them might be all of your ammo in 1 can in mags ready to go so an "Ammo" one is logical to have.

If you make an "Ammo" one, you can drop it into order 0000001431

Thanks for your order(s).

Sure, I can look at doing an "AMMO" Ammo Can Magnet, but generally have a 2 week or so turn around time from my design, then my print company to me, so won't be able to add it to your current order (which will ship this morning ), but can certainly have ready for your 3rd order.

OK, I have a few of these on order (should have on the website in a week-10 days).. Below is an example of what you could write with Dry Erase Marker (not included )

9mm, .223, 5.56, 12ga, 22LR and .45 for now with the White "Note/Qty" Strip.

My pleasure thanks for making these, I can't tell you how many times I have had to erase the sharpie writing when organizing thing. Now I can just swap the magnets around.

Thanks for your orders everyone!

Have more new designs on order... LOT's of Magnets in stock now (1000's of them in fact), and ready to ship

I'm hoping that some of the run/shortages on ammo is slowing down so guys and gals can finally start buying and filling up those ammo cans!!!

Happy Saturday!

The 357Sig, 30Cal sized - Yellow, is a new design that looks like I'll have ready to ship late next week (prob Thurs or Fri). I also did a 357Mag .30Cal Yellow as well that will available at the same time.

Thanks for your interest!

This is also a new design (at least for the .30cal size and .50Cal "Standard Font").

Might be late next or early the following week for those. Sorry!

Thanks for the pics, loving seeing how people are using our products. Out of curiousity, you have some of the .30cal sized magnets on the .50cal sized cans... is that how they will end up, or are you getting some .30cal cans too?

I just purchase the .30 cal magnets and use them on both sized cans. It just keeps things simple instead of having to buy both sizes.

...And I'm happy to sell both styles based on what you guys want.

For me personally I didn't even have any .30cal cans until I bought some for the sole purpose of getting some product photos of the .30cal sized magnets.

I haven't been involved in the sport very long (bought first ammo in Dec 2012, first Handgun in Jan 2013 and started the magnet business in Feb 2013). I only have 2 Ammo types currently (22lr and 9mm) so am using the Yellow Stencil Font .50Cal sized magnets for the few cans that I've been able to find ammo to fill.

Buy like you said the .30cal size will work fine on either, and I think there are some guys using the .50cal size on .30cal size cans (either on top/side, or just hanging off the edges of the front a little bit!).

Bunch of new designs hopefully arriving this week, so watch for updates on the site, and I'll try to post when the new designs come in.
