Just got home from Chula Vista Walmart.

6 boxes of .40SW Winchester PDX1
7 boxes of .40SW Federal Hydra-Shok
A bunch of various .380 boxes
All kinds of .22 short, CB, snake shotshell, but no .22LR
no 9mm or .45

Quite a bit of .410, .410 handgun (not sure why they would have .410 handgun with The Judge being illegal), 20ga, and 12ga. Many different hunting/varmint rounds too.

Freaking Aero is always busy, especially since Shawlilne stopped doing the 24 hour thing. Too bad, the girls there are cuter...

Just got to Aero @ 3am-nothing changed from last night, although there were some pallets about the place, waiting to be broken down and put on shelves. I checked out the pallets but didn't see any boxes from 'ammo companies. Maybe someone can check them out tomorrow morning after they've had a chance to break down the shipments...

Even since last year back in August, way before the panic, I've never seen anything that would interest us at the Shawline location...

As of about 2:30pm today there is pretty much a whole lot of nothin' at the Aero Drive location. I knew there wouldn't be, but I had to stop and check just in case. They had lots of 12 GA/20GA and a handful of boxes of other random crap. No pistol or .223.

There were three other people eyeballing the display case and we all had a laugh about the dismal selection. I should have asked them if they were CalGunners!

930 pm. sometimes they will check and see, but other times they will go in the back and say not all the pallets have been unloaded and will not be until the next day around 6am. There were other members mentioning the same thing with a cart with ammo to put in the glass door in the early morning at 6am. It is literally hit or miss. Keep in mind, this walmart on AERO has the highest traffic which is why it is hit or miss at night time. I would say for every 7 trips. I was told to come back 1/2 the time the next day in the morning. the other 1/2 id be lucky to score something of value like some 12 gauge shotgun buck or bird, maybe 9mm, and ak. 22LR is like non-existent for the one time they had it and 223 i havent seen that for the past 2 months. I go daily keep in mind. It really is just hit or miss to be hones.some days you get lucky, other days ur pist for wasting ur gas. you can call in, but they wont know until they actually get off the pallets around 9:30pm or 6:00AM. My best day was with 3 friends who helped me get AK ammo to test on Saiga. Shot a lot of it, and figure it wasnt for me. Id rather build my AR fully before opening another project.

Is Grossmont 24 hours also? Based on what you've reported, looks like they didn't get anything in last night...

the night before was on the 25th was shotgun 20 gauge. before tonight 2/25 it was what i posted. The grossmont one is not 24 hours. it used to be. check on walmart.com to verify. almost sure it says 12 on the website. I called in this morning and they said the received a case of 9mm. not sure how fast it disappeared but that was at 7.30 am.

As of 5:15am, the Aero Dr location still has nothing useful. They were unloading pallets in the store; but, there was not a pallet in the sporting goods section.

That's the same inventory they've had for the past 3 days.

It's moments like those where an "eye-roll-smiley" on a t-shirt would be just the thing. Damn us Calgunners!

i was at the college branch. only thing worth it is some .308- the rest is like aero with varmint rifle rounds and .410 and 20 shotgun ammo in single packs. There is 6 packs of .22 SHORT CCI though. Nothing at grossmont in terms of .22LR or 223. I wasn't looking for pistol- i should have asked because I plan on shooting this weekend pistol and will have to re-up.

Santee, 11:30am. Only 270 and 30-06. Lots of 20 gauge birdshot. No pallets to be unloaded.

At about 8:30pm there was some ammo available at the Aero Dr. location. They had CCI .22, WWB 9/40/45, a bunch of steel case 9/40/45 and I think some WWB 12ga. There were still people filtering in behind us as I was leaving. We also had a nice little CalGuns mini meet-up there in the sporting goods aisle.

Parkway walmart hasn't had any new ammo all week.

Thanks. It's always fun to stand around waiting for that special moment when the guy wheels out the cases of precious ammo....only to find out that they don't have what you need. At least chatting with you guys made it so that the trip wasn't a waste for me.

And I made this just for tonight:

I know this is the handgun forum but it still nice to see 233 trickling in. I doubt I'll be able to get to any of these locations that are showing availability before they sell out ... I know the online inventory is not real time. But what is encouraging is that it does show that it is coming in...
