Default Turners has Ruger SR22's

Not sure exactly sure how hard these are to find lately, but I've been calling my LGS's for a few weeks looking for an SR22 and have been laughed at more than a few times. I've also been checking the Marketplace and noticed quite a few people looking for them there too. Well, Turners just got a large shipment at their warehouse (yesterday I think). GO!
Cool story huh?

Cool, thanks. I hope they also have the ammo to feed into those.

Turners got in several nice Rugers this week. They had SP101s in 357 as well as a Single Six and some other Ruger pistols and revolvers.

Maybe the production is catching up with the Obama-induced panic buying.

SR22 pistols have been hard to find for a long time. When I bought mine this summer, my dealer was selling the first one he got in his shop and had had it on order for three months.

Shot my buddy's SR22 last January... pretty cool little pistol. Ate everything.. Only one prob- a single FTE. had to poke out the shell with an Otis pull through wire... Other than that it was flawless. Made me want one...

Well then that explains why I've been laughed at when I asked if it was possible to order one through my LGS! I figured they were in pretty high demand right now for one of the main reasons I wanted one...much cheaper to shoot than my .40. I'm just happy I happened to call Turners last night and was finally able to DROS one this morning. 10 days!

I was at a shop that had several last week when I was bailing out a Glock 23. I paid for one on the spot and will be going back in a few weeks to DROS and start the waiting period. Wife is finally showing some interest in firearms and this will be her first!

I DROS'd mine at the Kearny Mesa store. They didn't have any in the store though; they were all at the warehouse.

That's the reason I chose the SR22 over the S&W MP22. I wanted something my wife could learn with. Plus the features are similar to my Px4 so there is some consistency for her.

$349 + tax/DROS. It goes on sale every once in a while, but I wasn't going to take the chance waiting and them running out of stock to try to save $20. Been wanting one for too long.

Go figure, I paid for mine in full last Saturday and they go on sale tomorrow. Not sure if they have any in stock though. But then again, how can something go on sale if there's no stock available?

looking at the ad turners in reseda doesn't seem to carry much.
New ad says the sr22 is 330 at turners. ISSC 22 is 350. Funny thing is good luck finding ammo.
