+1 for the Savage MKII. It's a tack driver anywhere between 50-100 yards and, with decent glass and good ammo, it'll produce very nice groups at ranges a lot further back than that.

Another vote for the Savage MKII, mine doesn't have the accutrigger, but still more accurate than I am.

I've never dealt with either shop before, but I would call Bain and Davis and ask them to see how the process is done. Then I would contact J&G and see what they want. Getting the facts straight from the parties you're dealing with might save you a good deal of trouble later.

^^^ This ^^^. I have CZ 452 Style and CZ 452 American. I will be buying CZ 455 22LR and .17 HMR as soon as can it available in stock.

These were 5 round group @ 50 and 100 yards, CZ 452 Style
