Night sights work for me.
My 97B is a workhorse. It's a big gun and the recoil is minimal compared to other .45's. My new favorite gun.

I like my SA XD 45. Even more so after putting a PRP trigger kit in. I would've gone with an M&P 45 but the LGS didn't have them in stock and couldn't get it, so I settled for the XD. Glad I did, feels really good.

I really liked a p220 combat I shot with a trigger job. It was really nice.

I will definitely post up what I bring home.

What are the best p220 w/ light railz?

So, you just have a bunch of .45 ammo lying around, and you have no use for it. Meanwhile, I just DROS'd my very first .45 and do not have any ammo as of yet...

Sounds like providence to me!

On a slightly more serious note, why not buy another 1911? I'm feeling adventurous and bought a budget model which I am going to upgrade. Well anyway, that's my suggestion. I also hear good things about the M&P, and I though its ergonomics were pretty good, I have not ever fired one.
