Default The most innocuous guns affected by 374?

It might be helpful to come up with a handy list to get fudds and fencewalkers and even antis, who think this is about black rifles and "rambo guns" to realize how broad this actually is.
I think the fight will only be just beginning if 374 passes and we need a visual way to wake people up and gain a bit of sympathy.

I'll start:
ruger ranch rifle. (courtesey of the firing line)

I think the mini 14 was a target at least they had one as a prop alongside an AR when all the B.S. was introduced.

Winchester model 100

Not SB374, but my Circuit Judge.

I'd say the most ridiculous is the Taurus Judge, or this Defender, a .410 shotgun with a revolving cylinder.

Now an assault weapon. Well rattlesnakes will be happy.

This is not a good idea. It implies that it would be ok with gun owners to ban all sorts of firearms, not on "innocuous" list.

You cannot compromise like this with the anti-gun liberals. They will never stop trying to erode our rights. If the anti-gun libs initially go along with the concept that there is an acceptable list of "ok" firearms, they'll then whittle that list down, year after year.

Politicians obviously feel that you should cause injury to yourself if you chose to own a firearm.

My Mossberg 590A1 has a heat shield and it is a pump action shotgun without a "high capacity" magazine, a "shoulder thing that goes up" or anything else that looks evil-aside from a bayonet lug. After all, what's more scary than a firearm other than a firearm with a knife on the front?

I see it more of a lead off into why cosmetic bans in general are illogical. But you need something that grabs the attention.

Sorry but the Browning BAR type rifle would not be ban. The magazine is locked to the bottom plate and can not have a extender magazine.

Actually that weapon has been illegal in California for years.
Hand guns are specifically not allowed to chamber a shotgun shell.
Note that I did not say shot shell.

Is there no mercy dont take away my M-1 Carbine.
Some dog face carried it in WWII
My dad used it to protect his business during the Watts Riots.
I used it to protect myself during the Rodney King inspired LA riots.
Now they want to take it away?
No they just want to make us register as an assault weapon.

I think that an alternate question would be what semi-auto is not banned. I can only think of one, the Ruger 44 magnum deerslayer with a fixed tubular magazine. The BAR is banned, the magazine can be removed without tools and is not attached or fixed to the body. Even the 70 year old Remington and Winchester Semis have detachable magazine.

Wow, now THAT is a super illegal high-capacity assault machine gun conversion mod clip device that sprays bullets at children randomly from the hip at a rate of 1,000 boolits per minute, so accurate that even an untrained person with no instruction could get a 2" group at 100 yards IN THE DARK.

Those EVIL EVIL EVIL Springfields! Ban 'em all I say!
