Default SIG Elite P226 SAO

Always wanted a P266 in SAO, it's finally going to be made. Looks nice, glad they added the beavertail.
I know there are the X5 variations, but at that price range, I rather go with a nice 1911.

MSRP: $1,218.00 = maybe someday...someday, someday.
This looks just like the X-Five Tactical, plus 0.50 lbs in trigger pull (5#'s), less 0.60 inch in barrel length, less $478 in price.

Looks nice..... very nice... too bad my department will never approve it..
Too much 1911 style so they will say no.

I'd like one in stainless, nonrailed dustcover.

What sucks is this would be a perfect gun for USPSA/IPSC/IDPA (if approved by sanctioned bodies). But since its a "new" gun it will have a mag disconnect, if it ever does make it to the roster. SSE here i come!

I have the .45ACP version the P220 Elite SAO, it is the only SIG I still own. You will really like the beavertail and the safety is very positive on and off. The trigger on mine measured 4.15 lbs o. My trigger pull gauge. No it's not as good as a 1911, but very nice for anything else. If you have the cash and like the SIG platform pick one up, I think you'll like it.
