MR512,

At that hour your quoted it's gonna be busy and most probable you'll wind up waiting for a table. Your best bet is to get there much earlier.

Never go on weekends or holidays, maybe high ammo prices will cut down
on the crowd size. I still think Angeles should double their fees to shoot.

It only takes ONE ROUND to zero a rifle. Why would you have a gunsmith do anything more than bore sight it? Hell, you can bore sight it better than someone using a boresighting crutch (laser or non laser boresighter) by pulling the bolt and sighting down the barrel. Then, fire one round and fine tune your scope. Sight is is done at whatever distance you want your gun zeroed at. Just look up "one shot zero" or something similar and you'll understand just how to do it. I don't think I can make it this weekend or, I'd offer to help you. If you really need the help, shoot me a PM and we can work out a different weekend to meet there.

I saw a few videos and would still need some equipment to do but it all depends on what I can get done....
Im going to go to Turners to see if they have what I may need, (boresighter)
Everything else I pretty much have
Thanks for your input

You don't need a boresighter! It's a waste of money and time. Just pull your bolt, sight down the bore and adjust your sighting system to what you see in the center of your bore.

Where are you at? I might be able to find a little time to meet you and help you a bit. Shoot me a PM if you don't want to post the info on a public forum.

I sent 100 rounds downrange at 50 yards with just some red dot scope I had with my m4... hit target under 5 times!!!

Took same m4 to Arizona with the Magpul Mbui gen 2, straight out of the box, no adjustments and I was hitting clays and targets dead on at 50 yards! Before I scope my m4 I want to be able hit same at 100 yards but a spotting scope definitely comes in handy.

I did buy a 4x scope for the m4 and may work on that this weekend too.

I figured that because of the game, it may be less packed but I could be wrong. This is the first year I dont have a DVR so will have to watch the commercials live! Dont care much about either team this year or the past 10 years now that I think about it
