Default Receipt for first Glock 17 I bought

Going through some boxes I just found this receipt for first Glock 17 I bought. There is no date on the receipt but I think I bought it around 1999. Yes the first number in the price is a "2".

So funny, I paid well under 300 OTD for mine in about 1993. I wanted a Beretta so bad, but they were a solid $500 bucks. I just couldn't afford it going to college and all. I was so worried about my Glock lasting. I still have it and it still runs solid. Great gun!

Nice. $325 was the cheapest I ever bought a used glock in the mid 90's. But it did come with several 17 rd mags. Anyone remember Pony Express by Van Nuys Airport?

Nice.

Ran across a couple receipts a while back, where I paid $600 for a bnib HK93, and another that was a used Ruger MkI for $153. In the eighties.

Ohhhhhh missing the good ol' daze.

Actually, it's the opposite. In 1999, you could only buy 1 Glock with 1 oz. of gold. Now, you can buy 3 glocks with an ounce of gold, and still have some change left to buy some bubble gum.

My best receipt was a Mini14 for $320 after tax and DROS, and that was a mere 4 or 5 years ago. Oh the good old days.

Not familiar with business?

Overhead........insurance........taxes..........et c.

I don't like Glocks but 5x manu cost is about right...........maybe they make money in the end.

After all, if they were raking it in, and he didn't look like Ron Paul, he could have a good looking wife. She looks like something James Bond shot a long time ago:

With .380, so it took a while.

IN 1998, I paid $400 for a used Glock21 with 4 mags. Not exactly an awesome deal, but that's what I paid.
