Default Got a New One out of Jail!

Picked up the SR9 last night and took it to the range today! The wife calls this picture "His and Hers"....I'll let her think it but its technically mine! Haha

Great shooting 9mm, especially for the price. The wife loved shooting it as was much more comfortable with this gun over the XD40. Glad the XD isn't an only child anymore!!!

All seriousness and functionality and practicality aside, I just think the SR series looks racier than other polymer/striker thingies. For instance the guns in that pic look like an old GMC pickup next to a Corvette.

Good choice I've had my SR9 since 08 and have had no problems and really enjoy shooting it. I used to have a SR9c and a SR40 nothing wrong with the guns the 9 sold for 1911 money the 40 sold to down size calibers. Ruger has just come out with the SR45 and I will be getting it when it's CA legal and I do want to get another SR9c. Happy shooting, have fun and be safe.

I should have posted pics of how the wife shot....I was very impressed! A .45 will be the next gun and it will be a tough choice between the Ruger or a Springfield.

Speaking of .45.....do I go 1911 or .45 ACP?
