They look like pachmayr tactical grips. I just got some the other day and they fit and feel good.

I just added a low-profile laser sight last week.

What part of the barrel? The chamber/ramp area?

What do you mean by "throw rounds"?

How many rounds down the pipe would you consider "new-ish"?

I've probably run close to 3,000 rounds. Never had a problem with JHP (only about 50 rounds). Probably one in every 300 or so I'll get a jam with the Winchester 115gr FMJ "value packs". The edge of the casing catches at the top of the ramp, gets peeled back, and it jams hard.

I wanna compare the rifling to mine and make sure it's the arrow and not the indian before I drop some money on a new barrel. The last time I was out at the range every couple of rounds or so I was missing 3" steel at 10 yards by a couple of feet. It's nowhere near as accurate as it used to be. I have somewhere around 15k through it so 3k should look pretty new.

Cool... I'll try and set something up. Might be tough setting up the lighting to shoot down the barrel.

Okay... these suck, but it's the best I could do without a much better camera (and yes, I know it needs to be cleaned ):

Amazing.

Are tricked out XDs like yours popular in competition shooting? (I'm assuming that's for IPSC?)

I shot my XDM and my Glock 17 side by side with factory ammo and my reloads yesterday and I was much more accurate and able to shoot faster and keep it in the 0 zone on an IDPA target at 7 yards with the Glock.
Sounds like it's not going to work out for you. You should sell the gun to me.
