To those of you with G34 and 35's; I have always wondered if having the opening above the barrel in the end of the slide allows dirt and crud to get into the gun, and if that was an issue? I have been fascinated by the extra long models, and would like to get one myself, but I'm a bit of freak when it comes to reliability and durability. Thanks.

I haven't taken my 35 and rolled around in the dirt with it, but it doesn't get any dirtier the my buddie's 22 as far as range use and daily carry (carry for me while in AZ of course) I'm sure it wouldn't fair as well if you burried it in silt and then tried to fire it, but at the same time so long as it's in a holster of some sort while you do the rolling, I don't think you'd have a problem. End ramble

Nothing special. Just picked up a new Glock 30 SF w/factory night sights and added a pearce grip extension couple weeks ago. Havent even shot it yet.

A picture of my glock 17 and 26, nothing all that original.

G17 RTF2 with meprolight tru dot night sights, extended slide stop, extended mag release, recoil buffer, scherer slug plug.

G26 (3rd gen.) with trijicon night sights, extended mag release, extended slide stop, scherer slug plug.
