Default New 300BLK Pistol Build ***PICS***

Here is my latest AR Pistol build, I even did the Cerakote work. It shows in some places, but I'm not trying to win any awards. It sucks that I'm going to have to register it as an assault weapon. Won't be able to take it to the range right away because I'll be traveling

Build List
  • Lower: Areo Precision from 2a Zone (Registered as pistol in CA)
  • Upper: Anderson
  • Barrel: Spinta Precision 7.5 300 Blackout
  • Back Up Sights: Leapers UTG Low Profile Flip up
  • Red Dot: low price sight from Amazon (Will Upgrade Later)
  • Hand Guard: 7 Davidson Defense
  • Trigger: 3lb Drop in from Daytona Tactical.com
  • BCG: Aim Surplus
  • Muzzle Break & Dissipater Sleeve: Damage Industries
  • Charging Handle: BCM Gunfighter Mod 4
  • Anti-Rotate Pins: KNS
  • Grip: Magpul MOE K2
  • Angled Forgrip: Fortis Shift (Keymod Version)
  • Cerakote: Tungston
  • Bag: DDT Assassin Sling Bag (Pistol fits in snug when Folded, lockable zipper)
  • Law Tactical Folding Stock Adaptor
  • KAK Pistol Blade

Nice. You shoot it yet? I've shot a 300 blackout pistol with a 10.5" barrel and the recoil was almost nonexistent with Barnes ammo. Very pleasantly surprised.

No, the carrier would not pop out but the folder would likely be damaged. There is a clear warning on the folder to close before firing. There is a youtube video of a guy firing with the folder in the open position just to see what would happen.

There are some articles professing that the Gen 3, the one I have, the only version sold now, is designed to fire a single shot. The gen 2 was mostly aluminum while the Gen 3 is all 4140 steel. I don't see that claim on Law Tactical's website though. Perhaps the youtube video I referenced was a Gen 2 folder and not a Gen 3.

I'm looking at doing one of these nearly identical but in 9mm. Very nicely done man!

You'll never see that claim, because of the liability of the possibility (however slim) that an AR pistol BCG will fly through someone's cheek.

Whether you can safely fire closed or not, though, that thing is really really cool. I'm about to order one myself to check it out.

I'm glad my build has inspired you.
