Default FN Browning 1906 .25 Cal

I was thinking of picking up one of these little pocket pistols, according to the serial number (800k's) its probably made in the 1920's. I was wondering whether this beauty is legal in California?

Thanks for the help.

Not the smallest quality .25 but it is an excellent little pistol.

C&R so no worries about the 'list'.

Be sure to find time (and money) to shoot it; they're fun.

If you ask about carrying a .25 for protection be prepared for flames.

My input:
It's better than being unarmed.

Went shooting with a friend last week. He pulled out a similar little .25 ACP pistol to shoot that his grandmother had given him, she had bought it in the 30s. I had not shot .25 since I was a kid when my brother had one, it was terrible, it jammed all of the time, I think it was a cheapo Phoenix or Jensen Arms.

The pistol my friend bought was nickel plated, as small as the gun in model87's post (mouse gun?) and it actually shot very well, reasonably accurate and didn't jam once. I was looking at the ammo, it is almost the same size as .22 LR but centerfire. Interesting little guns.
