Default IT'S FREE..... well sort of

Yes people there are things for your prep that are free. And here are some of the things that you can get for FREE.

1> AM-PM: Go to any AM-PM and when you get your morning coffee, You can get up to 3 bags of tea, 4 books of matches, A fist full of Sugar, Salt and Pepper.

2> Round Table Pizza: When you order Pizza for home delivery, They will allways ask if you want Paper Plates, Napkens, Peppers and Cheese. Get all you can get.

3> Local resterants: Check out the salad bar. If they have peppers, sunflower seeds, and something that looks like sticks, Then order a salad. Take a few of the 2oz cups, and fill them with seeds, sticks, and pepers. Put on the lids and take them home.

4> Your Local Bar: Some bars have Peanuts, Chips and Check's Party Mix for you to eat. After all, the more salty snacks you eat, the more beer you drink.
Get your little/LARGE Zip-Lock bag and stock up.

There you go, Some things you get for free just for eating and drinking.

Does anyone have other bright Ideas ??

It's not free. It's figured into the overhead costs. Why does a slurpee cost $1.79 when it is only a .01 cent cup and .02 cents of frozen flavored water?

Those "Life Hacks" are there but they are not "Free".

Plenty of ways to work the system if you feel the need to.

Of course I'm cheap. I learned it the hard way.
5 Years ago, I got caught in the Credit Card trap.
I had over 20 credit cards. From Sears to Capital One.
By being "CHEAP", I am now down to 9 cards, and by the end of Febuary,
I will be down to 7 cards.

My job is the only job that gets you fired for doing a great job.

I will NEVER go on wellfair EVER.... I'll die first.
I get free food and drink, because I trade my work for food and money.

And it is prepping to a point. Just as when I do receive a large sum of cash, I up to 250 Gal. of fuel. Then hold it till the price goes up. Then, I get my $40.00 worth of fuel, and if I need more, I draw it out of my storage tanks.

When gas was $4.99 a gal, I was still burning $3.95 fuel. And it got me by.

Grandma is that way because she remembers going hungry during the depression.

My sister goes to Sizzler and orders a meal with all you can eat salad. She then only eats from the all you can eat salad bar and takes the meal home.

Grandma... I remember my Grandma. Great gal. Mom is 91 and she does remember when times were bad, Very Bad.

I don't do the All you can eat thing, I am not like that. And I don't execpt to load up to the gills in this stuff. The idea here is to get people started. If you start out small, and you do see your little pile grow, Then you're on your way to start prepping.

The pizza man that comes to my home, Brings me my pizza, drink, ($21.56) and he always gives me a plastic bag with peppers and cheese. Also, 2 mints.
I don't get a discount for not using them, But I don't want to throw them away. So I saved them. And I have a lot of them.

NOW, If the pizza comes again, and he is out of peppers and cheese, Well, I have a stash of peppers I can use. There for, I AM prepping for when the pizza man comes with NO cheese and peppers.

Basicly, Start small and as your pile starts to grow, you can see what you have done and that will get you started for the big stuff, Like water, MREs, Can goods, Rice, ect...

By the way, that Grandma thing IS funny.

yes, all of those things are built into the overhead costs.
when at hotels, I always grab, daily, the Coffee/tea packets, plastic cups, shampoo/soap, and whatever else they have that is not in the fridge (thats extra cost), i usually request extra coffee stuff even.
KFC, I always request 6 or more plates, and utensils, and grab some honey and butter packets
Century movie theatres, I always grab a handful of salt packets, usually using about half on my popcorn, and have a drawer at home
McD' a few packets of ketchup
I always grab napkins and sugar packets from anywhere that has them.
Little Ceasers Pizza, especially, I always request a hand full of napkins

If you fake a appendix attack and go the hospital for surgery you get to keep the paper gown and booties!

Makes as much sense as any posting here...

HUH?

ohiknow, That is right. I get fired or laid off if I do a great job. And here is why. I repair ARCADE machines for a living And I do a great job fixing the game, It stays working for years.

I work at 3 arcades. I have all the games to the point where I can check all 80 machines in 4 hours. When I first started at one arcade, I spent 8 hours a day, 5 days a week. After a month of work, I got all games working to the point that all I need was just 2 hours each day to get the arcade ready.

That was when the owner of the arcade gave me the greatest reward I could ever received. " You did a great job, and I am very happy with your work."
I was happy. Then the BOMBSHELL. "But, because everything is working, I'm afraid I have to cut your hours from 8 hours down to 2 hours."

That's the arcade biz.

Next time you're in line behind an EBT user watch when they bring in the second basket full of stuff that is not covered and pay for it with a $100 bill out of their stuffed wallet then go load it up into their new Suburban. This is one program that should be scrapped and you have to go stand in a welfare line to get your families weekly food. Make it so much trouble that only the truly needy will apply. Then this state may get back in its feet.

Read "Atlas Shrugged" by Ayn Rand. The entire novel is based upon individuals - and societies - that mooch off successful people, and were considered a very low lifeform.

You think that filipino social club at the nearby church gives a crap whatever they're talking about?? HELL NO! they only come to the potluck so they can eat a buffet of lechon and panciit at the end of the meetings.

Is it me or do i see my cousins and other relatives and filipinos using way more napkins than they need to, then next thing i see those napkins on their breakfast table.

Trust me dude. where ever you work at observe the next time your job or company treats the workers to a full lunch. You'll see the filipinos stuffing their plates and covering it with another plate and putting rubber bands around the whole thing to hold it in place.

LOL If you're filipino and you're reading this and you're laughing because I'm right, well high five brother (or should i say Kuya?) lol

Why do you think Mcdonalds started having their ketchup in pumps instead of little packets?? because all the filipinos would take them home and put it in their kitchen drawers and use them the next morning on their eggs.

Damn Pinoy you are giving away trade secrets.....OPSEC Pinoy, OPSEC. Here's to add to your list, my mother in law use to wash used styrofoam plates and cups. She also washed used plastic spoons, forks, and knives after giving a house party. Thank God she does not do that anymore since me, my wife, her husband, and my two sister in laws got on her case about it. I kinda miss eating out of banana leaves as plates since if you don't finish your food and want to take it home all you have to do is fold the banana leaf and viola you have a take home wrapper.

HELP I have a Williams defender that fails to boot up. I switched the board and it worked. After 2 days of playing I entered 5 or 6 initials then it failed again. I does not go into test mode. If you know anywhere i can take it Please send me a PM. I live in SF and can not find a repair shop.

**** I use to grabb extra paper bags from Safeway. However SF now charges .10 a bag.
