Nice review! I also have one on my Glock(G19). I wasn't able to find any adjustable LED at the time so I settled with th RM2 with suppressor sights. At the time OST didn't have any slides available so I sent in my slide and RMR for the milling and install. I believe it took 6 weeks(been a year I forgot ) I agree it's a pretty costly upgrade but you do get what you pay for.

I got a pretty good deal on the RMR so my total cost was $1100 including the G19.

Gen 2 G19 police trade in-$380otd
RMR-$420otd
OST milling, sights, shipping-$300

I plan on getting a G19 this year, so I may run the RMR on that as well.

He said it was 1k for a complete slide and RDS. It would cheaper if you sent your slide to be milled to accept a RDS.

OP, thanks for the great review. I'm really interested to see how the RDS holds up to a high round count.

I'm really trying to convince myself to send a gun to AETI for slide work. I'll let you know if I actually do. Those slide top serrations he does are simply awesome.

This is what I'm looking to do, as well, when I finally get a G19. I want front slide serrations since I've gotten into the habit of gripping the front end for brass checks and slide racking.

There have been several reports on pistol-forum of them pooping out early...although Trijicon is in the process of updating the electronics.
