Default A400 fit to a Lefty

Hey all... does anyone know of a local shop that can fit my new A400 sporting to me? I'm a lefty and it just doesn't fit quite right... i remember when i bought it from Bolsa Gunsmith that they said they could do something to it to have it fit a lefty better. But i'm not going back to their shop so i'm on the hunt for a new shop to help me out.

I'm in north OC... thanks!

Did you follow the instructions in the manual with the double shims?

Which model A400?

I use the A400 Xtreme and am a lefty, spent about two hours messing around with the shims to get the right fit (cast and drop)

left here with a400 xcel, messed around with the shims and it fit much better. I still had to take it to the gunsmith to adjust the LOP and pitch though.

Pitch is what they told me needed to be changed... I had forgotten what word they said... Is pitch something I can do myself or is it better left to a gunsmith??

Pitch is the angle of the butt pad relative to the barrels. When you mount the gun do you feel that it is poking you? This was the case for me, the angle of the pitch was too much out of the box and was poking me. I had the gunsmith cut it with no angle. Once you cut the pitch you'll need a new butt pad since the old one will not fit. The butt pad's come in bigger sizes and will need to be sanded/cut to match the stock. I don't trust myself to do it.
