Default Recommend Me a Holster

I have absolutely zero experience with holsters and the searching I have done (for my particular handgun) leads mainly to companies selling their holsters or private sales of holsters that can fit my handgun.

I have a Glock 23 and no CCW. This will be for at the range or any other time I can carry, but will not be used everyday (not sure if that matters for some models). I do not want a drop leg holster or anything like that. Beyond that, I'm pretty much open to any type of holster as I don't have any experience with them. I was thinking of just purchasing one from my LGS and trying it out but would like to hear some experienced responses first.

My only other handgun is a G26 and I am interested in one for that as well.

Thanks for any info.

fobus for range or open carry, Galco King-Tuk for concealed. I have both for my G23

Most civilization is based on cowardice. It's so easy to civilize by teaching cowardice. You water down the standards which would lead to bravery. You restrain the will. You regulate the appetites. You fence in the horizons. You make a law for every movement. You deny the existence of chaos. You teach even the children to breathe slowly. You tame.

Raven Concealment. If it's on their quick ship list, you will have it in about 3 weeks.
