Default 6.8 SPCII and others

So we all know that 5.56 stuff is flying around like bats coming out of Carlsbad Cavern. So how are the other AR calibers doing for parts and ammo availability? I have not really been tooling around on Calguns as much as I normally do and haven't really seen anything about the other stuff. If there is a thread out there already sorry for beating this question up. Take Care Russ

556 has been easier for me to find than 6.8. The 6.8 I have been able to find has been at normal prices though. $1/round

I agree, what I've seen has been normal prices but a lot of retailers are out of stock. However, I don't see a lot of it going back up for sale used (gouging prices).

I think people are buying it for there own inventory.

Well the GS near my location is still all out of 5.56 ammunition, but they have a lot of 6.8 left. All of their Hornady and remington 6.8 is gone though, all thats left is the expensive S&B and Corbon stuff.

Try finding 6.8 small primer brass

I can't find any SSA or hornady new or once fired to load for my new 6mm Woa build

In the current climate, I think large primer 6.8 would be better, places are out of small rifle primers but most still have large rifle primers, at least in the short run you can keep shooting.
