Default list of FFLs who will perform an interstate intrafamily transfer

As someone with family outside of California I occasionally have the joy of receiving an off-roster handgun gift - but those of us who've tried to get the transfer done know what a hassle it is finding an FFL who knows both state law and Federal law regarding intra-family gift inter-state transfers. Most FFLs don't know the applicable law and even some who do aren't willing to do it anyway.

Every month it seems there's a new thread asking how and where one might get an interstate intra-family transfer done, so I thought we could just list them all here and make it easier for everyone in the future.

For our list, just post as much contact info as you have and I'll edit and keep this list updated. This will be a great help to those who need to utilize this process in the future.

Thank you!

(Please only post FFLs who are confirmed - that is, you've witnessed it happen or have verbal confirmation from the FFL they'll do it.)

For more information about the process:

California law regarding intra-family transfers - that is, a transfer between parent, grandparent and child / grandchild if both are California residents - only requires you to file a BOF 4544A and pay $19.

In order to receive a handgun from a family member outside of California: Federal law requires that any inter-state transfer take place at an FFL. And anything that takes place at an FFL must be DROSed, with 10-day wait, valid Handgun Safety Certificate, and 1-in-30 days limit applies. These transfers may be off-roster. The transferor out of state should include a letter stating names of both parties, make/model/serial # of the handgun, date and that it is a gift from parent/grandparent to child, etc.

An intrafamily transfer must be "infrequent," which by law is specified as maximum of five times per year.

For more thorough citing of the law, reference the Calguns Wiki on Intrafamily transfers.

Metal Dog Tactical in San Jose will be doing one for me next week. Please note, however, that the gun is being brought in by my father, not shipped directly to them.

Gunrunners in Duarte. They did a shipped-in transfer of an off list pistol from Texas for me. They understand the process, no hassles.
