Default TAN Ar-15 lower receiver paint

I want to do my AR lower in Tan to match the hardware I just bought. I have seen quite a few online that are all tan. Are people taking these and getting them powder coated? what are my options? I don't want to worry about scratching the paint easily, so a strong finish is prefered.

People are using DuraCoat, Norrell's Moly Resin and sometimes high temperature spray paint. Do searches on those terms (and "krylon") here at Calguns

Powercoating is not appropriate as it builds up too much, and flat or satin finishes are not very durable (you probably don't want a shiny glossy finish, which powdercoat does well).
