Default NRA Funding Sources?

Does anyone know where I can find the sources of funding for the NRA?

I'd like to know a bit more about it so I can combat the most likely, false statements from the left that the evil gun companies are funding the special interest group of the NRA. Showing that most donations to the NRA are from individuals will go nicely along with showing that the NRA has 4 million members while the Brady Campaign has 28000.

I guess we should all be happy to see LaPierre and Robinson won't be homeless any time soon.

Chainsaw: Not sure how you are getting 1/4 to 1/2 coming from the firearms industry. The VPC, one of our opponents, estimated at most $52 million donated total by the gun industry from 2005 to 2012. If the NRA's budget is $225 million and at most the gun industry is donating $7.3 million per year, we're talking around a 2-3% per year. The VPC amalgamated the money saying $18 million to $52 million total over the 6-7 year period, although they are not sure what the exact number is.

The gun industry has one of the crappiest business models in existence. I doubt they have much money to put into this fight.
