Default AO Precision Stripped Upper - $109.99

In stock, I was able to order one last night and it will ship in a day or two.

http://www.midwayusa.com/product/898...-flattop-matte

Was a little unsure about the quality, but apparently these guys make stuff for FN, Noveske, Spike's and is a huge military contractor.

Finish your stripped upper with a kit from Rainier :

Attention!
We're sorry, due to high demand, the manufacturer is unable to provide a reliable "Date expected in stock," therefore we are unable to take a backorder. Please use our Notify Me feature to receive an alert as soon as the product arrives.

I had reservations when I saw that too, but I saw on another forum that their order already shipped. Figured I'd give it a try since it's seems to be the only quality upper out there that's not ridiculously priced.

I think you're mistaken: http://www.aopmfg.com/index.php/industries/firearms/

Military
AO Precision is a major provider for the M16 and M4 parts contract for upper receivers, bolts, carriers and barrel extensions. We are also sole source to the U.S. Government for breech bolt assemblies for the M61A1 20mm Vulcan cannon. The company produces parts for the M249 SAW and M240 Machine gun and USSOCOM suppressor components.

Commercial
AO Precision supplies many of the most respected of the AR-15 rifle producers. These include Alexander Arms, Bulldog Barrels, Del-Ton, DSA, Krieger Barrels, Lothar Walther, LaRue Tactical, LWRC, Noveske, O.F. Mossberg, Primary Weapons Systems, Rock River Arms, SIG Sauer, E.R. Shaw Barrels, Smith & Wesson, Spike’s Tactical, Wilson Arms and Wilson Combat. Our critical parts – bolts, carriers, barrel extensions and receivers – are considered the best available. We also have the ability to produce handgun parts, including frames and slides as well as bolt-action rifle receivers and bolts. When firearms manufacturers demand uncompromising quality and reliability, they turn to AO Precision.

I love my Aero Precision. I think they get stuff from Cerro Forgings. As their receivers have the key stamp. Great stuff. Tight fit.

I agree with you about Aero precision uppers I have a couple and absolutely love them great fit excellent build quality. However Aero Precision and AO precision are two different companies I'm not sure how Aero got brought up in this thread about AO. But these are AO uppers for sale not Aero....

I placed an order too. Still says in stock, ready to ship, and also has the warning on the bottom of the page.
