Default Got 500 rounds of 22 today

It's almost 30 years old but reliable as the day it was made! That packaging tells tales of ages past though. Couldn't be happier to have ammo though!!

Curious as to where you found it. I have bought random old ammo at yard sales, etc.

So... are you going to turn around sell it for... maybe $100 in the marketplace or gunbroker?

I found one of those old orange boxes at the Glendale gun show.

Nice score!

I actually ended up getting the ammo from a cop I know. He sold me a Glenfield model 60 and 5000 rounds of 22 for $200

I bought some federal and blazer ammo at the Ventura gun show. The federal had a price tag of .77 cents, and the guy I bought it from said he bought it in the 70's from all American. All of the ammo I bought there ran flawless in my mp15-22.

Btw I paid $3 a box for it, the price tag was from the 70's.

Wow. I shot a bunch of that stuff as a kid. I remember the exact same packages being on the counter in Target in Fargo, ND in 1986.

Yeah it's crazy that ammo was that cheap. A 4x return on anything is amazing these days.
