That's funny. I saw a news story once of an olympic archer who would practice out in the street shooting through his garage out the back man door, and into his target butt against the back fence to get the proper yardage. Just don't come out of the kitchen into the garage while the range is hot.

Looks like Bass pro has Winchester 555 bulk packs, $30.49 each. Doesn't appear to be a limit

I shoot my pellet guns in the house. I have some Super Colibri too, but I think it might be a little hot for my layered cardboard backstop. Plus I need a revolver or bolt gun to use them up I think.

I forgot to add a shipping code and did a live chat. The CSR came back with this.

"At this time, there are no items listed in your order. The item you were attempting to purchase is unfortunately unavailable at this time. I sincerely apologize."

She said to expect a cancellation notice. Thanks anyway.

Be sure to use the promo FREE75, which worked with ammo unlike some others.

Good Find, Great price! Thanks for posting. I was able to get 4, so I think you are correct about no limit, and the promo worked for me as well.

Yeah the big online retailers and their funny business...

Either way .22 lr ammo has been really trickling in the supply chain the last couple weeks.

My question is why the hell did it take nearly 9 months after the panic started for .22 lr ammo to be somewhat available?

I am convinced the big three(Winchester/Remington/ATK) temporarily stopped producing .22 lr ammo at the heat of the panic to crank out the more profitable centerfire ammo.

Yeah, yeah, we get it. You just want ammo finds because you're selling a lot of stuff in the marketplace and don't contribute otherwise and can't be bothered by the kind of helping people that encourages people to post finds here in the first place. We heard you the first three times, and we don't care.

Yeah it is for ammo finds, unless you want to contribute we don't want to hear from the peanut gallery.

This is a free forum we can say what we want.

I think it's pretty clear that posts like is this a good retailer, are they screwing up the orders, who ships fast/correctly/well, is that good ammo or not are actually on topic. If a "find" results in a lot of order issues I want to know about it. A "find" isn't useful if you don't have enough information to act on it, and a lot of us have been buying .22 from retailers or of brands that we wouldn't have tried last year.

There actually hasn't been that much totally off topic content and it's mostly been on the weekends when there aren't any "finds" anyway. Probably the biggest component of off topic content are people posting centerfire finds to the wrong thread...

Yeh like those guys in the marketplace that want to trade a Ruger LC9 for a full size S&W, Sig, Glock, or CZ pistol in 9mm and they'll even consider a .40 S&W and think they are doing you a favor?

Palmetto State Armory - 22lr available. Good for flipping!!! GO! GO! GO!

People do come in here and get frustrated because they can't get a Bucket of .045 per round Golden Bullets after hanging out for a few days... and they buy a few $65+shipping choot 'ems and call it good.

I guess it isn't my place to try encourage patience and show how this ammo hunting can be fun and addictive... but I feel bad thinking about people helping those scumbag flippers. PSA has some good deals, and they aren't the worst... but those choot 'ems make me want to buy my AR-15 parts somewhere else.

I realize that the flip side to that is... PSA set the price so high that they always seem to have some in stock.

Two things...

1. I just received a PM from someone who doesn't seem understand why I sell some of my ammo. Was almost funny...

2. I'm constantly amazed at the price haggling. I say again, too many folks clearly don't understand fiat currency economics and seem to live in a world where bulk .22 LR is always .06 per round.

Grab what little .06 you can now...

...but also grab what little .07, .08, .09 you can now too folks.

Cause once stagflation kicks in - it's bound to happen - you'll be cursing yourself come next summer when the base price sits at .10 per round.

I'm not predicting with certainty it will happen - but chance are pretty good.

When the Feds print trillions - prices will go up.

Also...

...sure MidayUSA is killing us for shipping...same with others.

And sure, it sucks that limits are put in place.

But put yourself in their shoes:

1. Do you want to operate in extreme economic swings?

2. Or do you want some sense of "stability" or "normal" or steadiness in your inventory flow, cash flow, and recurring expenses and customer turn-around?

It's not just with ammo, it's with other items too such as AR-15s and AR-15 lowers...
