to everyone posting about getting your ammo cans- nobody cares, there is another thread to post that in. http://www.calguns.net/calgunforum/s...hlight=cabelas

on another note-

http://www.midwayusa.com/product/953...point#40rounds

400 rounds oos only 40 rounders.

edit- looks like a limit of 4 for american eagle and cabelas has a limit of 1.. http://www.cabelas.com/catalog/produ...12&WT.tsrc=AFF

It's funny how a lot of us just got the federal ammo deal from Cabelas. Now all of a sudden federal value packs are all over the ammo sale section for 50 per.

Not funny at all... but not surprising either. That's been happening with everything from Automatch to Buckets whether it is here or Gun Broker or wherever.

If someone wants to give up their ammo deal and spend the time finding a buyer and drive to meet them somewhere public FTF to sell ammo out of their trunk... I guess they deserve something for all that effort. If a buyer can't figure out how to get reasonably priced ammo on his own and will pay way too much for it then they deserve to pay that high price.

I am one of those chit chatters, but the 5-hour Energy thing is pretty hilarious, hahahahah.

I only drink one once in a while if I want to change up my normal pre-workout. So, I have a cupboard full of those from Sportsman's Guide mostly I think. If I get enough I will put them in a .50 cal can with a label

I think the energy drink giveaway was a one day thing because yesterday I received a couple of orders that included energy drinks but today I received an order with nothing included. Luck of the draw based on when your order was received.

Is anybody else having trouble with the cabelas website in an iPhone? The web page is jumpy and I'm unable to get to bottom of page where the product is selected for the shopping cart.

Correction... it says SUB SONIC on the CABELA'S PAGE - SLICKGUNS post was wrong

They have 50 packs for $3.99 and 100 packs for $7.49 - Dunno WHAT they are. Cabela's pics and descriptions are totally wrong sometimes.

Any old "Android" device isn't going to save the day.

Depends on which device and what hardware... my Nexus 7 is slooow compared to IOS devices. I find Android way more buggy, inconsistent, and laggy than IOS. I use Google TV, MK808 and similar mini computers, Android tablets, etc... I used Android phones as well as iPhones. Unless there is some new hardware revelation out there, Apple is not slow compared to Android.

Have you tried CHROME on your iPhones?

But, I think you'll be happy with Android.

So at the risk of going OT here, CCI AR tacticals are really accurate out of marlin 60's. I tried them in three today and all put 100 rounds into the 9 ring or better on a standard 50yd target. No FTF's or FTE's in 300+ rounds. shot with a 7x scope. Keep an eye out for them at vendors.

Thanks for the feedback. I'll be on the lookout for those next month. I'll still be trying to post finds but buying is on pause for now until I get a new scope and some other caliber ammo.

I got a couple camo 5hr energy drinks from Cabelas too, they must like me. Sour apple is the best kind.

In other news the last of my 4 Cabelas cans came today finally, consolidated the ammo into two cans bulk.(Had one extra brick of Fed Bulk from Natchez that went into the right can)

I hear that. I'm done w/ .22lr unless some smoking deal comes along on some eley team. Ots been changed to "edge" or something now so I don't think that's gonna happen.

Please post a link if you guys find some of this. Me, the wife & kids have shot the 22 quite a bit this year & this is our favorite bulk ammo. Our supply is getting low.

I scored 10 and 5 at Gander Mtn within about a three week span. Gander is cool because it's a 10 unit limit no matter how big the unit. If Buckets O' come in, it'll be limit 10 if you have the juice to get em. Last order from them just came Tuesday and had 10 Minimags hp's 10 Winchester red boxes and 5 ar tacticals only cause I didn't have enough to buy ten of those too!!
Free shipping over $50, no tax, and a paltry $9 "ammo fee" which is nothing when talking 3875 rounds shipped at one shot instead of 1 brick for $16 shipping at Midway. And no, I don't work for them

Speaking of Ganders, are they selling Ammo to us Californians again? or is that stupid ban still in effect?

Just wanted to share/chime in: My Federal Can arrived today, no 5 HR Energy. It's ok though, I am more of a Red Bull kind a guy.

I would post an ammo find, but it's slow at the moment. Sorry.

Keep trying. It went OOS very quickly (10 minutes or so). But sometimes...it comes back up.

Try it now!

See my post a few pages ago... they were supposed to have fixed that after receiving multiple pissed off emails from CA residents. I'm thinking someone either got some FUD on their end, or they got tired of shipping stuff to us. Ammo finds is a powerful thing. It's like the force.

Here's another link for CCI AR tactical from cabela's. Note it is unavailable online, but there is a customer service number to call to order. I didn't try it, so YMMV. 1500 rounds with a free dry box.

http://www.cabelas.com/product/CCI-T...ox/1143660.uts

If anyone has success, please update!!
