Good to say about it?
You mean like the $500+ price tag, 9.9 pound weight, $33 proprietary magazines, the short sight radius and no scope rail? Oh, and the mags are HUGE, almost as big as my..... well, they're pretty big. Not so good for bench shooting.
It looks (kinda) cool though.
Other than those things, its a really nice gun. Which is why I (DON'T) own one.
Save your money, unless of course you have lots of money, then get one of everything.

It's a nice rifle to add to a gun collection, it's time to buy one if you are interested of having one, this are going for $404 at Budsgunshop plus $50.00 mail in rebate, so it ends up only $354.00 NOT $500 + price as mention in an earlier post.

i like mine. its fun to shoot and neat to have a historic replica in 22lr. dont have any issues with the gun, but yes its a little on the heavy side.

Yeah I have one and it is a heavy rifle and was never designed to shoot from the bench. They do require HV ammo.

Like Bob said they are hvy and use HV ammo. Mine has been 100%
function wise with many ammo types, giving excellent accuracy.I don't
need a scope, although mine shot LOW until I filed down the FS to get
POI up when the rear sight was in its lowest position. Looks cooler
then most rifles and has identical features like the real one from 70
years ago!For the price and looks its a no brainer. Pete

I have a feeling they will be something of a cool curio years from now.

I shoot mine, but I really bought it for the concept. It is big and heavy with a ridiculously large magazine, but a close replica of an STG44 in .22lr is something that gun guys will say 'wow! that's cool' down the road. I mean I think its cool. Just a feeling I have. Its not really practical that's for sure. Better do some push ups.

Get a deal on a used one, that's my advice.

Awesome little rifles just seems most do not appreciate them until they're no longer available except in used condition.

Just my $0.02

It's not an AR, so yes it's heavy, cumbersome, not as ergonomic, etc.

But if you're into history, C&R, or old rifles in general, this is an excellent reproduction that belongs in every WWII enthusiasts collection.
