DROS Question.
I DROS a lower ans an AR-15 on the 2nd at 10:20am, but my paper work says to pickup on the 13tth at 10:20am, shouldn't I be able to pickup my stuff on the 12th at 10:20am?

Unless the 12th falls on a holiday or the store is closed on the 12th, you should be able to pick it up 10 days from the start of DROS. My friend bought a gun on 12/15 but wasn't able to pick up until the 26th because the store was closed on Christmas day.

can't imagine why a store is closed on a saturday 1/12 and opens on 1/13... doesn't sound like a turner's store or maybe the clerk made a mistake...
some other stores like big 5 does add an extra day to the waiting period though...

Many shops have a 11th day pickup policy. They should have explained this when you were filling out your paperwork.
The logic is that they will not have to worry about missing the 10th day by a few minutes and have their FFL pulled. |

Some LGS specifically do a 11 day wait rather than 10. I have heard them say that the day you start your paperwork does not count (Big 5). I am sure it is to make sure they are covered and not hassled by eager patrons. Wild Sports, SBR, Big 5 Roseville all do a11 day wait. Since yours will fall on the 11th day, just show up when they open.

It sounds like a mistake. I bought two guns in the past year at Turner's and I was allowed to pick them up on the 10th day. The statute states 10 full days; you get delayed if the place is closed.
